Melissa was raised in Chicago, got her Fashion Design degree in Atlanta, and moved to Los Angeles to pursue her love of film and tv. She has been a costume designer and has had her own apparel line, which sold in H.Lorenzo, Fred Segal, and Bleu In L.A., and across 37 states. She began styling 17 years ago, and has worked with some of the top names in both the entertainment and fashion industry. Her editorials and covers have been featured in Vogue, Elle, W, Surface, GQ, Esquire, Angeleno, and In Style magazines, amongst many others.

This understanding of creating personality branding has led her to Keith Urban, Annie Lennox, Billy Bob Thornton, as well as dressing a multitude of celebrities and musicians including Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet, and Will Smith.

Melissa’s love of artful storytelling and visual aesthetic makes her invaluable to all of her clients, and has led to numerous advertising campaigns for Sebastien, Joico, 2 Rodeo, Nike, Mazda, Sprite, and Samsung among many others.
